UK: Luxury lifestyle brand Dakota Hotels has selected Shiji to power the group’s point-of-sale (POS) and property management system (PMS) across its UK portfolio.
Dakota Hotels has five properties across the UK with sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester.
Beginning January next year, the group will implement Shiji’s Infrasys (POS) and the Shiji Enterprise Platform (PMS) at all five properties to be completed by March 2023.
Dan Keeping, IT manager at Dakota Hotels, said: “We strive for ways to offer a better experience to our guests, as well as having a better understanding of their requests. In addition to it, having the ability to integrate our system with other third-party vendors and making sure that our technology stack meets the market’s tendencies were factors that had an influence in our decision.”
