Kimpton to upgrade portfolio to Knowland Insight Elite

US: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will upgrade its entire portfolio of 51 subscribed properties to the Knowland Insight Elite – a database that analyses group buying behaviour.

Knowland is a market data and analytics company for hotels, conventions, and visitor bureaus (CVBs).

Its flagship solution, Insight Elite, can be integrated with SmartSync to the Amadeus Advanced Sales and Event Management Advanced Module, to allow greater control of group pipeline.

Kimpton has been a customer of Knowland since 2013. After Knowland launched its integration with Amadeus’ MeetingBroker earlier this year, conversations began about upgrading.

The Kimpton portfolio spans new build projects, historic building transformations, and mixed-use developments. They now operate more than 60 hotels and 80 restaurants, bars and lounges in the US, Canada, Europe, Caribbean and China.
