UK: London-based design agency Tonik Associates has launched Tonik Lobby Activations and a branded real estate arm of the business.
The idea for Tonik Lobby Activations came about when working on hotel projects such as The Guardsman and Middle Eight in central London. The initiative will help to connect brands with hotels and develop collaborations to ensure return on investment by optimising excess space.
With the branded real estate offer, Tonik aims to bring recognised brands into the real estate sector.
A third launch, called Tonik One-Step, is an extension of the group’s current offering. It will enable the team to manage all aspects of a project in-house, including feasibility research, design, project management, build and marketing.
The group will initially target emerging markets to roll out these new initiatives, with a joint venture partnership based in Bahrain already underway.
Additionally, Tonik has agreed with European fund organisations to establish capital that will support clients in wholly or part-funding projects.
Gary Marshall, founder of Tonik Associates, said: “Over the last 12 months, we’ve been on a journey to discover what the future of the business looks like. The inspiration behind all three of these exciting initiatives is the same – to break down the barriers found in bringing projects to market and to discover how we can help our clients to unlock potential through the process of design.
“The next stages in the evolution of the agency are brave and exciting, enabling us to broaden our horizons, grow our talent and disrupt the industry that we once knew.”
