UK: Marylebone-based hotel Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has appointed Guillaume Paupy as general manager.
Paupy will also serve as area vice president for Hyatt in the UK and Ireland, overseeing the brand’s expanding portfolio across the region.
Paupy brings over two decades of experience with Hyatt, having held senior leadership positions across Asia and South America.
Most recently, he served as managing director at Hyatt in Tokyo, where he led Andaz Tokyo as general manager and oversaw Hyatt’s operations in a key Asia Pacific market.
His previous roles include General Manager of Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and other senior positions in Montevideo, São Paulo, and Singapore.
He began his career with Hyatt in Tokyo in 2001 and, following a brief hiatus, rejoined the company to build a career spanning the Americas and Asia.
