UK: Treehouse Hotel Manchester will be introducing a rooftop restaurant, bar and lounge, alongside premium suites to its urban resort experience.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester opened in 2025. It offers an all-day dining venue, lounge and bar from chef Mary-Ellen McTague, fitness centre The Playground, a 43-seat screening room, and flexible meeting space for up to 400 guests.
The expansion will add a further nine suites to the hotel’s existing 224 rooms, alongside a rooftop restaurant, cocktail bar and lounge. A partnership with neighbour The Pollen Club will offer guests access to its padel courts, while The Good Sauna Co has designed an outdoor sauna experience at the Treehouse hotel.
“Manchester has such an incredible creative and social energy, and Treehouse naturally grew out of that,” said Raul Leal, CEO of Starwood Hotels, the company that owns and manages the Treehouse brand. “It’s a place where you can spend the entire day, whether you’re here to work, connect, unwind, or simply have a great time.”
Located across the 14th and 15th floors of the hotel will be Sister Moon, a rooftop restaurant serving a combination of British and Southeast Asian food. It has been created by chef Sam Grainger alongside Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford. Cocktail bar The Nest and speakeasy-style lounge The Hideout round out the latest F&B offerings.
Nine additional suites will also be located across the 11th and 12th floors, including presidential suites and flexible, interconnecting rooms designed for families or group stays.
Creative studio House of Black, in partnership with the Starwood Hotels design team, have overseen the interiors of the expansion.
