Boutique hotel pioneer Kimpton has recently opened three new properties in the US.
The former Se Hotel in San Diego, California, has been relaunched as Hotel Palomar San Diego, and features 183 guest rooms, including 17 skyline suites and 20 luxury apartments. Located in the Gaslamp Quarter, the hotel also features a roof deck lounge and infinity-edged pool, a spa and in-room spa services, a high-ceilinged ballroom and more than 20,000 square feet of event space decorated with the work of local San Diego artists.
RiverPlace Hotel in Portland, Oregon, on the banks of the Williamette River, has 84 rooms with either city, river, or courtyard views. Its amenities include an indoor pool, a children’s pool, a health club, a spa tub, and a sauna.
In Miami’s South Beach, the 186-room Surfcomber Hotel features preserved original Art Deco architecture, direct beach access, and a heated swimming pool surrounded by cabanas and palm trees.
Kimpton now has more than 50 hotels in the US, with further new outlets expected this year in Philadelphia, San Diego and Phoenix.
