US: The Hotel Republic San Diego is the latest addition to Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
The property features a collaborative design from locally based Bluemotif Architecture and Los Angeles-based Forchielli Glynn that “channels the aesthetic of a chic beach house and private yacht club”.
The hotel lobby is anchored by Trade, a restaurant and cocktail bar that celebrate San Diego’s gastronomic identity. Other F&B outlets include the Patio Marketplace and the Topside Terrace Kitchen & Bar.
The property also includes extensive private meeting and event space, including the Veranda indoor-outdoor lounge, which is equipped with a two-sided fireplace wall, a green trellis, and natural lighting elements. A rooftop space is home to a variety of activities from yoga to cooking tutorials.
