Ireland: Adare Manor in Co Limerick, has announced the opening of The Carriage House.

Designed by David Collins Studio, London, as a resort dining destination to complement The Golf Course at Adare Manor, The Carriage House features a grill restaurant, cocktail bar and lounge, glazed terrace, cigar lounge and private dining room.

The Carriage House lobby features a replica Benz Patent-Motorwagen centrepiece, while the terrace has an open show-kitchen, allowing guests to observe the chefs at work.

The Carriage House restaurant is helmed by director of culinary Loughlin Druhan, who showcases the best in artisanal and local produce, prime Irish dry aged beef and fresh fish. Open for dinner daily, the menu includes Connemara lamb and Atlantic lobster.

Adare Manor is a castle hotel, and completed a major renovation in November 2017. The expansion included a new 42-bedroom wing, increasing accommodations to a total of 104 guest rooms, a ballroom which can host up to 350 guests, as well as a redesigned golf course by Tom Fazio. The 842 acres of Adare Manor’s parkland, walled gardens and walking trails were also enhanced and offer a range of pursuits, including falconry, archery, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, spa and cinema.
