China: YaTi by Artyzen in Shanghai Hongqiao is the group’s latest lifestyle hotel that’s connected with direct access to another design-led brand Artyzen Habitat, which launched last year.
The hotel forms part of the Shanghai MixC complex in the greater Hongqiao area.
It was formerly managed by citizenM. In the third quarter of 2020, citizenM and the property’s owner Shun Tak Holdings mutually and amicably decided to terminate the partnership. citizenM’s imagery will continue to be used, with all signage and proprietary technology removed from the hotel.
It has 303 guest rooms and communal areas include The Living Room and Bar.
Surrounded by a commissioned art collection, there are also hot desks for coworking, computer desks equipped with Apple desktop computers, and sofa areas with big screen TVs. On the second floor there are eight meeting rooms.
Senior vice president of Artyzen Hospitality Group, Peter Wynne, commented: “Embracing the group’s philosophy of ‘Art, Culture and Emotional Wisdom’, and catering to today’s modern traveller’s evolving lifestyle, YaTi by Artyzen represents a simplified but diverse lifestyle of creativity, vitality and passion. We believe YaTi is more than a place to stay; it is a living room for those youthful travellers who seek today’s social, art and culture scenes wherever they go.
He added: “YaTi by Artyzen Hongqiao Shanghai is strategically positioned as a select service hotel that provides essentials without fanfare and complications. In conjunction with the adjacent Artyzen Habitat hotel, guests enjoy the unique benefit of direct access to the added facilities in Artyzen Habitat, such as a fully equipped gym, Utility Hub with self-serviced laundry, a bistro and café, an amphitheater and events studios. Together, the two hotels create a smart business model and added value for guests that cannot be found in other comparable select service hotels.”
Shanghai China is a hub for Artyzen, where an additional six hotels spanning three brands are under development over the next two years. By 2023, the group will have 15 hotels in operation.
Artyzen Hospitality Group is the hotel division of Hong Kong-listed conglomerate Shun Tak Holdings. Brands within the portfolio include Zitan, Artyzen Hotels and Resorts and Artyzen Habitat. YaTi by Artyzen is a new mid-scale select service hotel under its house of brands.
