UK: The lakeside resort in Rutland has been sold to Dineshbhai and Savitaben Patel on behalf of the trustees, selling off a guide price of £10 million.
The property was constructed in 1890 as the family hunting lodge of the sixth Earl Fitzwilliam.
It was subsequently acquired by Derek Penman, chairman of the Penman Group, where it underwent long-term redevelopment and refurbishment to become a 55-acre resort.
The resort comprises 66 guest bedrooms, 49 lodges and apartments, 11 function suites, four bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, a gym and a spa.

The sale was completed by property consultancy Knight Frank.
