UK: The opening of the 166-key hotel in South Parade has been pushed back to spring 2020.
Originally expected to open September 2019, the hotel’s owners, St James’s Hotel Group, have contracted ISG PLC to complete the project.
Construction on the £10 million site came to halt in February 2019 when Phelan Construction Limited suspended its work. No reason was given for the delay.
Work is now fully underway and the hotel will begin recruiting staff at the beginning of the new year.
A spokeswoman from Hotel Indigo Bath said: “We remain fully committed and excited about opening and operating our beautifully appointed 166 bedroom IHG Hotel, alongside The Elder Restaurant.”
Hotel Indigo Bath will be replacing the former Pratt’s and Halcyon hotels.
