UK: Castle lodge, which was once the home of Catherine of Aragon, could be converted into a 10-bedroom property following support from Ludlow Town Council.
The building’s owner, Ben Tagg, applied to convert the Grade II-listed Castle Lodge, which will see each room themed to a historic figure.
The property dates back to the 13th century, and was a hotel up until the Second World War.
It most recently served as a private home, which the previous owner opened to the public as a museum.
Tagg bought the building in the summer of 2018, and plans will be decided by Shropshire Council after the end of the consultation period in January.
