US: The Chase Hotel in Palm Springs has been bought by Jeff Brock and Richard Crisman, who own and operate the nearby Sparrows Lodge.
Crisman and Brock are planning a full renovation and restoration of the 26-room hotel, adding a new restaurant and bar. The property will also revert to its original name – Holiday House Hotel.
The restaurant and bar at Holiday House will occupy a part of the lobby and include 28 seats arranged on an outdoor patio and six at the bar.
“The goal is to position the hotel as an attractive four-star boutique hotel for guests seeking a quiet and upscale environment,” said Brock in a letter to the city.
