US: Luxury lifestyle resort Edgecamp Pamlico Station as opened on the Outer Banks of North Carolina on Hatteras Island.
Designed by potter and designer Jonathan Adler, the resort’s 14 suites are equipped with full kitchens with the option to have it pre-stocked upon arrival. A private chef service is also available to book.
An on-site wellness centre features saunas, cold plunges and hot tubs. Guests can arrange private massages via the hotel’s concierge, as well as yoga and fitness classes.
Richard Fertig, owner of Pamlico Station and CEO of Stomp Capital, said: “As we open the doors to Pamlico Station, the culmination of a dream that was sparked on the shores of Hatteras Island during a kitesurfing vacation, I’m filled with excitement and gratitude.
“This new hotel fills a gap in Hatteras, allowing couples and individual travellers to experience the beauty of Hatteras with timeless design by Jonathan Adler. Our goal is to provide a sanctuary for recovery and wellness after a fun-filled day on Pamlico Bay kiting, surfing, paddle boarding, or after kayaking and frolicking in the ocean waves – only steps away from this ideal location. Pamlico Station guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the Cape, forge genuine connections, and experience the perfect synergy of laid-back opulence and functional luxury in an extraordinary corner of Hatteras Island,” he added.
Future expansion plans from Stomp Capital include the forthcoming Edgecamp Sporting Club in Salvo, North Carolina, and additional master-planned resorts in locations such as Southampton, New York and Crested Butte, Colorado.
