Switzerland: In January 2023, Faern will launch its first two properties in Arosa and Crans-Montana.
The brand name Faern has evolved from the German word “feiern” which means “to celebrate” and the English word “fern” referring to mountain flora.
Each new site will be inspired by traditional 70’s design and located close to ski-lifts. Indoor and outdoor pools for both guests and visitors will make up both resort’s wellness offerings.
Rooms vary in size across the two locations, from a single to family room which can sleep up to five. Amenities include 50″ smart TVs, natural toiletries, and some offer balconies or come with mountain or forest views.
At Faern Arosa Allein, F&B venues include the Alpensand Social Club, the Zus Brasserie and Alchemilla Parlour Bar. At Faern Cans-Montana Valaisia, there’s the Eteila Brasserie, Sewi Bar & Social Club, and in the summer the Sewi Pool Kitchen.
Romain Semmel and Thibault Catala, co-founders of Faern, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of Faern, Switzerland’s new destination lifestyle resorts, introducing Crans-Montana and Arosa launching in the coming months. Earmarked to be Switzerland’s newest hotspot for snow-obsessed skiers and snowboarders, we are also excited to continue our offering in the summer season with wellness activities, hiking and biking routes. Faern is excited to welcome guests where every encounter is purposeful and significant.”
Following the opening of Arosa Altein and Crans-Montana Valaisia, upcoming locations include Wengen Lauberhorn and Sils Maria Schweizerhof. Further information can be found here.
