Croatia: The old fishing town of Ika near Opatija is welcoming a brand new luxury five-star boutique hotel.
Poslovni.hr. reports that Ikador Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa will have 8 luxury rooms and 6 exclusive suits with a total capacity of 42 people and an exclusive Riva lounge when it opens its doors in April.
Rooms vary in size from 50m2 with balconies for the smallest, to the suites which are 80m2 with balconies. The presidential apartment is 280m2 with a 145m2 balcony.
The hotel has been designed by architect studio Artelior. The hotel will feature an underground tunnel below the Lungo Mare promenade is connected to a private beach that has a mooring for boats.
There will also be an a la carte restaurant at the hotel, cigar bar, a heated outdoor sea-water pool and an underground garage with charging facilities for electric cars.
Ikador Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa, which plans to remain open all year round, is already a member of the leading association for luxury hotels – The Leading Hotels of the World.
