UK: Graham + Sibbald have announced the sale of the Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown-on-Spey, Highland, to an undisclosed overseas buyer.
The property is a Historic Listed Building (category C) with 51 bedrooms spread across four floors. Originally built 1765 the hotel has welcomed visitors including Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.
England Base BWWC Ltd, the previous owners of the site, developed a Bird & Wildlife Watching Club based at the hotel whilst upgrading and refurbishing the property to a four-star standard.
Other amenities include a bar, restaurant and lounge. The new owner plans to undertake phased enhancements of the hotel.

Graham + Sibbald invited offers over £1.85 million for the property.
Grant Arms Hotel is set within the Cairngorms National Park, which features four out of the five highest mountains in the UK. The region is part of the Speyside Whiskey Trail.
