US: Located in Midtown Manhattan, the 446-room Hard Rock Hotel New York has opened.
Audacy is a US-based broadcaster and has integrated a performance studio and entertainment hub into the hotel. A series of recording sessions and live performances will take place on an ongoing basis.
The Venue on Music Row is an entertainment space spanning two floors. It will host fashion shows, after-parties and gala dinners.
Room sizes range from King Rooms to Platinum Suites with terraces. Kimono robes, Lavazza espresso, and Rock Spa bath products will be featured in each room.
Situated on the thirty-sixth floor is the Rock Star Suite – a glass-enclosed penthouse. It features an open-plan living and dining area with a bar and butler pantry, an outdoor bar, double bedroom with walk in closet, and VIP direct access to the RT60 rooftop bar and lounge.
Several F&B venues include fine dining restaurant NYY Steak in partnership with the New York Yankees, as well as all-day restaurant Sessions Restaurant & Bar and RT60 Rooftop.
Hard Rock’s retail store Rock Shop will be accessible from 48th Street.
Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International, said: “New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world and we are honoured to open our doors to locals and travellers looking for a best in class hotel, dining, and entertainment experience. Hard Rock has had a presence for decades in the city, but this location will deliver an entirely new experience from the brand that’s been synonymous with music and entertainment for over 50 years.”
