US: Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton, is set to open this summer in the former Distrikt Hotel Pittsburgh.

The 185-room boutique hotel is located in Downtown Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle. It has replaced the Distrikt Hotel Pittsburgh, a former Curio Collection property also, housed in the old Salvation Army Building.

It will feature an experiential lobby which will include refreshments, a library, board games, records, and rental bikes for guests to use. The space has been curated with local businesses including Nicholas Coffee, Pittsburgh Winery, Voodoo Brewery, Amazing Books & Records, Get Hip Records, and Thick Bikes.

A dining concept by Butler Hospitality, called T&E Diner, will serve an all-day menu of American dishes.

Additional facilities include 800 square-feet of flexible meeting and event spaces, along with a tenth floor outdoor terrace offering views of the city.
