US: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will officially open the doors of its newest hotel, Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, set in the city’s historic centre, in October.

Kimpton describes the property as one of its boldest hotels. It will feature 268 guestrooms including 17 suites and 27 “King Spa” rooms, 13,000 square feet of meeting space, a 3,300 square foot ballroom and the city’s only rooftop lounge.

“The Hotel Monaco Philadelphia is a game changer for the city and for Kimpton,” said general manager Nick Gregory. “The neighborhood welcomed Kimpton with open arms with our first Philadelphia hotel, the Hotel Palomar, and we’re thrilled to introduce more family members here with a new unique boutique hotel that has the city’s only true rooftop lounge, top-notch chef-driven dining and catering, and unmatched programs and services. This all chalks up to what we envision as an enriching and captivating Philadelphia experience.”
