Lana de Savary purchases The Eastbury

UK: Lana de Savary has exchanged contracts for the Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne, Dorset

Lana de Savary, wife of Peter de Savary, has purchased the Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne, Dorset.

The 23-key Eastbury has been owned and managed by Paul and Nicky King for the past 17 years. During that time the hotel and its restaurant have achieved industry recognition and a number of awards.

de Savary said: “We hope to further invest in the hotel to maintain its reputation and, subject to planning approval, add a few additional luxurious rooms as well as a boutique spa facility for hotel guests.  I was particularly attracted to the Eastbury which is a period country house with lovely gardens, extraordinarily situated in the heart of the charming and quintessentially English town of Sherborne”.

The de Savarys have forty years experience of owning and operating luxury hotels and clubs, including Cary Arms & Spa, the St James’s Clubs, Skibo Castle, Bovey Castle, Cherokee Plantation, Carnegie Abbey Club, the Abaco Club amongst others.
