UK: bar and kitchen opens on Duke Street
The bar and kitchen of the new Lock & Key hotel in Liverpool are open for business.
Lock & Key’s restaurant and bar offer daily breakfast, lunch and dinner services. The menu was designed by local chef Jen Peers.
The opening marks the first phase of development. The next phase will include the opening of the hotel, which will house 14 boutique hotel rooms.
Lock & Key is the new venture of Liverpool developers Andrew Spencer, Tom Bower and Michael Connolly.
The hotel is set in an abandoned Grade II listed 15-17 Duke Street property. The building has been empty for a decade. The team aimed to convert the building whilst maintaining original features including the original Georgian shopfront windows.
The hotel will be open for business at the end of the year.
