Malawi: Latitude 13°, a boutique property in Lilongwe, Malawi, opened earlier this year.
The property, located in Lilongwe’s Area 43, less than 30 minutes from the airport, has nine suites, all of which feature king size beds, 42″ flat screen LED TV’s and rain showers. The hotel’s Latitude restaurant has an eclectic menu created by chefs Richard Greenhall and Andrew O’Hallaran which has African, Asian and Mediterranean influences, and a wine list selected from more than 50 South African estates.
Amenities include free wi-fi, business facilities, a private meeting/dining room and a swimming pool in extensive gardens.
The Latitude Hotels, the company behind the property, is set to roll out the concept to principal cities of sub-Saharan Africa.
