US: A new 42-room boutique hotel has opened in downtown El Paso.
The hotel features a chic interior design, contemporary artwork, a lounge and a full-service spa.
Rooms cost an average of $200 more a night compared to other El Paso hotels in the area.
Aaron Rodriguez, general manager at Stanton House Hotel, said: “The restaurant is run by chef Oscar Herrera, who also owns a fantastic restaurant out in Juarez. So if you’ve ever dined there, you can expect the same experience.”
The hotel also features a restaurant with a private dining room with windows looking out to the kitchen and other dining space.
Asked if they’d ever consider budging on prices, Rodriguez said: “It’s always dependent on the type of business that comes in. We look forward to of course maintaining this rate, and then hopefully pushing it forward because that helps all hotels in downtown El Paso. “Making them (locals) proud of the product that we have here. And making them proud of their city that they live in.”
A speakeasy and rooftop bar will also open in Spring 2019.
