US: Ambiente, developed by Two Sister Bosses, is slated to open its doors to the public in early 2021 in Sedona, Arizona.
The property is designed to blend into its surrounding geography of 300 miles of hiking trails and the Coconino National Forest.
The hotel is comprised of 40 cubed-shaped atriums that are elevated above the ground. Each will come with a main bedroom, a drop-down 65” television, a bathroom with oversized tub, fireplace, and walk-in shower, heated floors, and Le Labo luxury bath products.
Many atriums will also have access to a private rooftop deck with lounge seating, a fire pit and a day bed.
Smart-room technology will offer one-touch motorised drapery, on-demand movies, and music streaming from the bedroom to the rooftop deck.
“We designed the Atriums with the goal of providing an atmosphere of tranquility and rest that would be enhanced by thoughtful touches at every turn,” said Jennifer May, co-owner of Two Sister Bosses. “There truly is no other place in the world where you can stand in the midst of unbridled nature, surrounded by expansive, unparalleled views of rare red rock formations, all while enjoying the utmost in in luxurious accommodations.”
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a half bottle of champagne and macaroons as a welcome gift. A complimentary mini bar, refreshed daily, will include a coffee station, bottled water, nuts, dried fruits, popcorn and cookies.
No cars are permitted on the three-acre site, and guests will be encouraged to make use of the hotel’s two-person electric vehicles that are also street safe.
The main lobby will feature a lounge with a full-service indoor/outdoor bar, meeting spaces, offices, and two-room spa that can provide in-spa and in-room treatments.
At the centre of the property, a natural lagoon-inspired pool with a poolside lounge will serve farm-to-table cuisine and fresh juices.
Ambiente is in line with Sedona’s new commitment to provide sustainable destinations for tourists. The hotel aims to be the city’s leading example of sustainable tourism.
