Caribbean: The Beach House in Grace Bay is undergoing a renovation in time for a launch later this year.
Formerly known as The Turks and Caicos Club, the plantation-style structure is undergoing a full makeover. It will have a “No Socks Allowed” rule, rooms are named instead of numbered, and the operators are aiming for a relaxed and uxorious feel.
Each suite is decorated in white and pale blues and includes a “pampering pod” on the beach, which is surrounded by the world’s third largest coral reef.
The poolside restaurant and the in-suite dining program are being revamped, by chef Eric Vernice, who is introducing tapas primers and wine tastings in the privacy of guest suite patios.
The property also features a spa and fitness centre, and is geared up to host weddings, retreats and corporate block bookings.
Beach House is in the process of creating a customised scent developed by Arcania Apothecary that will be the backbone of an exclusive line of signature bath and spa products.
