US: A major independent hotel management company in the US is continuing its growth adding 3 properties in Hawai’i.

The expansion into the market demonstrated the company’s commitment to tourism enhancement from a local perspective, as its partnerships continue to focus on cooperation with local hospitality main stays.

Founded in 1988, OLS Hotels and resorts manages 30 boutique properties throughout the US, with six already in Hawai’i. The company takes a tech forward approach with entrepreneur Ben Rafter at its head, using unique analytics to ensure properties have optimal return on investment.

The 3 hotels in question all provide access to some of Hawai’i’s most impressive destinations- North Beach on Maui, Waikiki beach on O’ahu, and the capital city of Honolulu. The hotels all feature restaurant and bar services, with their own unique features to match.

The Pacific Monarch marks OLS’ first investment in a condo style hotel, with full living facilities all included in the room- designed for extended stays and families. White Sands, on the other hand, leans into the early 70s lounge aesthetic of the classic Hawaiian vacation, featuring some of the only remaining walk-up services left in Honolulu.

Rafter said of the acquisition: “As these three properties are just as important to locals as they are to tourists, we look forward to enhancing them with our excellent hotel management services that stem from our team’s long-trusted experience in elevating boutique Hawaiian hotels.”

This follows news in March of OLS expanding their footings in northern California.
