Palisociety announces opening of two US locations

US: Los Angeles-based lifestyle hotel brand, Palisociety, has added Palihouse Miami Beach and Palihotel San Francisco to its portfolio of award-winning hotels and restaurants.

Palihouse Miami Beach

Developed in partnership with Scott Robins Companies, Inc., it is the seventh hotel property under the Palisociety umbrella, and the first opening on the east coast of the US.

Located on the Indian Creek Waterway in a newly restored Art Deco building, it sits close to the ocean and within distance to the area’s shopping, restaurants, arts and culture scene.

The hotel features 71 guest rooms and studios, with a mix of king and queen accommodations, most of which have kitchenettes.

Within the property is Greenbrier Swim & Social – a collection of all-day food and drink gathering spots. This includes a creek-front patio, lobby lounge, bar, and outdoor pool area found in a private courtyard.

Avi Brosh, founder of Palisociety, said: “We have put careful consideration and time into the brand growth of Palisociety and Miami has long been at the forefront of our vision for an east coast expansion so we are very happy to be bringing this hotel to life. We’ve tailored a one-of-a-kind beach lodge for Miami Beach that conjures up the ideal seaside pied-a-terre you’ve always imagined.”

Scott Robins, president of Scott Robins Companies, Inc., added: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Palisociety on the development of Palihouse Miami Beach. This hotel stands apart in the market and fills a void in the city for a premium lifestyle property with design, amenities and a prime location that will be very well received on Miami Beach.”

Palihotel San Francisco

Located south of Market neighbourhood and close to Union Square and the Financial District, the hotel is a reincarnation of a century-old Mission and Spanish Revival-style edifice on Stockton Street.

It most recently operated as the Mystic Hotel, and has been home to several historic properties including the Colonial Hotel in the 1920s, the Hotel Navarre in the 1930s, and the Navarre Guest House in the 1950s.

The hotel features 82-bedrooms, including a two-bedroom suite, king and queen accommodations. All are equipped with Palisociety signature bath amenities, Smeg refrigerators, Nespresso machine, and in-room table with curated neighbourhood guide.

The Fisher Loft will be opening in December – a loft-style restaurant, lounge and bar in 2,900 square-feet on the second floor. It sill serve an all-day menu of classic comfort food alongside cocktails, beer and wine.

“Being a California-based company, San Francisco is a natural expansion for our brand and when the opportunity to be a part of this property’s rich history presented itself, we jumped on it. In the tradition of all prior Palihotels, we are excited to bring San Francisco a true independent neighbourhood hotel that is extremely well located, has bona fide design chops, and offers great value,” remarked Brosh.

The property joins one of six new openings including Palihotel Culver City, Palihotel Seattle, Silver Lake Pool & Inn, Palihotel Westwood Village, and Palihouse Miami Beach.

Palisociety was founded in 1998, and is a real estate development and hospitality operating company. It acquires, programs, develops, owns and operates hotels and residences, as well as retail spaces, restaurants, bars and event venues.
