US: Pendry Hotels & Resorts has opened its seventh hotel and the first in Washington DC, located along The Wharf.
Designed by ODA with interiors by DesignAgency, Pendry Washington DC forms part of The Wharf, a waterfront dining, shopping, hospitality, and residential mile-long development.
The hotel features 131 guestrooms and suites, three F&B venues, Spa Pendry, a fitness centre, and 7,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Executive chef Barry Koslow will oversee the F&B offering, which includes a rooftop Japanese restaurant and bar Moonraker, Latin American all-day restaurant which also serves the open-air pool deck, and Bar Pendry.
The spa will offer five private treatment rooms including a couple’s room, two eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, and a lounge. The fitness centre also comes with Technogym equipment and Peloton bikes.
