Pocotel Glasgow City Centre opening

UK: RBH Hospitality Management has launched a new brand of hotel in Glasgow City Centre called Pocotel.

The hotel, owned by Bracknell Property LLP, comprises 91 bedrooms, a selection of F&B options and two meeting rooms. Marika Fergie has been appointed general manager.

It follows the recent opening of The Corner London City. RBH has two additional London hotels set to open shortly: Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton and Westin London City.

David Hart, CEO of RBH said: “This is the second rebrand of this nature that the RBH team have helped initiate from scratch in the past couple of months and it’s remarkable to see it come to life so quickly. Pocotel Glasgow City Centre is a brilliant addition to our portfolio and embodies the innovation and ingenuity that we’re striving to create. Following the Glasgow launch, we have further plans to expand Pocotel as an established hotel brand throughout the UK in the near future.”

The Pocotel names stems from the Italian word ‘little’ and is a brand for small to mid-sized hotels. Further information about its Glasgow debut can be found here.

RBH is an independent hotel management company with a portfolio of more than 45 hotels. The group has partnered with hotel brands including Hilton, IHG, Accor, Wyndham and Marriott.
