RBH rebrands Qbic London City

The Corner London City

UK: RBH Hospitality Management, operators of the former Qbic London City Hotel, has relaunched the property as The Corner London City following a three month rebrand.

The 183-bedroom property in East London now features self-service check-in stations, informal meeting spaces, a restaurant and bar area, and updated bedroom designs.

Its green credentials will continue under RBH. Previously, the hotel achieved an average of 41 per cent less water consumption than other UK hotels and 67 per cent less CO2 emissions than industry average. It also offers electric car charging points and features recycled installations from the local area.

David Hart, CEO of RBH said: “The takeover and rebrand of The Corner London City on a tight timetable is one of many exciting projects we’ve been delighted to work on this year and the uniqueness and vibrancy of the property is an excellent addition to our growing portfolio. We pride ourselves at RBH on an ability to react quickly and provide customised solutions for hospitality investors who find themselves in unique situations and this project has demonstrated every one of those traits. The efficiency and determination of the entire team to execute a rebrand of this nature is testament to their fervour for getting back to what they know and love as quickly as possible – delivering exceptional hospitality.”

The addition of The Corner London City comes at a time of expansion for RBH. The group has two new London openings this autumn – Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton and Westin London City. The openings will increase the number of RBH-managed properties in London to 13.
