UK: The Nare, at Veryan-in-Roseland in Cornwall, has been awarded five stars by The AA.
The family-owned hotel, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is a member of Pride of Britain Hotels. It has 37 bedrooms and suites and has been the highest rated hotel in Cornwall for the last three decades.
Proprietor Toby Ashworth said: “I am very proud that The Nare has been recognised as the first AA five-star hotel in Cornwall. Achieving five stars has been a rigorous process over two years. There has been a steady increase in quality standards over the last 20 years. The Nare’s hallmark of traditional hospitality offers guests a standard of comfort and service that most hotels simply do not provide.”
General manager Matthew Voyle said the accreditation will help bring a boost in international visitors to The Nare, particularly guests from the US.
Robert Martin, AA South West area manager, said: “The Nare has continued to strive for top quality and comfort for the last 3 decades being one of Cornwall’s strongest establishments.”
