UK: Town Hotels, the hospitality division of Living Brick, has invested £11 million into the new developments, both located in Liverpool.

The £4.2 million Duke Street Hotel is slated to open next month, with the first guests arriving soon after 17 May when the next phase of restrictions ease in England.

It’s a 30 bedroom boutique hotel with modern facilities and urban design.

The second hotel, located in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, is scheduled to open in July. Around £7 million was invested into the project.

Housed in a former factory, it will offer 58 guest rooms and the property will showcase original features.

Kevin Doran, founder of Town Hotels, said: “We are delighted to be announcing the opening of the Duke Street Hotel next month which will be followed by the Baltic Hotel later in the summer. Both hotels will offer contemporary, hip designs which are very much in keeping with the feel of the Baltic and Ropewalks areas of Liverpool. They will be pitched to UK and European visitors to the city looking for stylish but uncomplicated accommodation.

“Both hotels will add to our already established serviced apartment portfolio which includes York Street Studios and Chavasse apartments in the city centre,” he continued. “We’ve worked with a brilliant team throughout the pandemic to get the new hotels ready. We are hoping for a great year as people start returning to the city as lockdown restrictions are lifted.”

The creation of the hotels has been led by Doran, founder of Living Brick, and his business partner Phil Walsh.
