Aqua Hospitality adds Ohia Waikiki to its Hawaii portfolio

US: Aqua Hospitality has announced the addition of the Ohia Waikiki to its management portfolio.

The 17-storey, 251-room Ohia Waikiki – formerly known as the Outrigger Surf East – is currently undergoing a $2 million refurbishment and will undergo a full renovation over the next few years.

The property features a 24-hour restaurant, a lobby seating area with flat-screen TV, swimming pool, sundeck, and bike and surfboard racks.

“We are always looking to expand our portfolio to provide a wide variety of options to our loyal and new customers,” said Matt Bailey, president and chief operating officer of Aqua Hospitality. “Ohia Waikiki is not only a great option for budget-conscious travellers coming to Oahu, but it also offers much sought-after accommodations with kitchenettes in Waikiki.”

Aqua Hospitality is a Hawaii-based management company founded in 2001. The company provides full-service management and represents 27 properties on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Hawaii Island and Guam.
