Germany: Hotel developer and operator Aspire Hotel GmbH plans to open 20 properties in the DACH region by 2027.

Aspire Hotel Group will focus its operations on “innovative technologies” and a “clear sustainability strategy” in order to reach its goal of 20 hotels in the next four years.

The team aims to diversify its portfolio, targeting boutique and franchise hotels.

Under the Aspire brand, 10 boutique hotels are planned across A, B and C cities within the DACH region. The group also plans to develop a portfolio of 10 franchised hotels – each offering up to 400 rooms – in city centre locations for leisure and business travellers.

Andreas Erben, managing director of Aspire Hotel, said: “Our hotels should offer guests in the DACH region a second home today and in the future. We believe our commitment to superior service and a warm atmosphere will help create unforgettable stays. Digitalisation will also help us to sustainably reduce our costs.”

Aspire Hotel GmbH was established in 2018 by Erben and Heiko Grote and is headquartered in Berlin. The duo have more than 25 years of industry experience having operated over 100 hotels between them.

The company has two properties already open: Aspire Elements and Aspire Castillo, both located in Reutlingen, Germany. An additional hotel is currently under construction.
