Thailand: BHMAsia has added X2 Chiang Mai to its portfolio, the first of several proposed X2 Villas brand properties.
The villa has accommodation spread over two buildings and is set among mature tropical gardens in the heart of Chiang Mai. It consists of five bedrooms, four bathrooms, an outdoor pool and garden, an al fresco kitchen and dining area, terrace and living room, and car parking.
It is a short walk from the old city walls and north gate of Chiang Mai centre.
Anthony McDonald, CEO of BHMAsia, said: “After the great success of Le Bayburi Pranburi, the luxurious three bedroom beachfront pool villas in Prachuab Khirikhan, we decided to open another pool villa property and brand it as an X2 Villa. This type of accommodation is getting more popular as it gives the guests freedom of space so they can create their own agenda for their vacation. At the moment, we are working on the interior themes to bring the X2 spirit into it. The design is going to be modern meets contemporary Thai. The location is superb, situated right in the heart of Chiang Mai town with walking distance to Kad Suan Kaew and the trendy Nimmana Haeminda Rd.”
The new X2 villa property in Chang Mai is the latest offering from BHMAsia, one of the most dynamic hotel management, development and consulting groups in the Asia-Pacific region.
With CEO Anthony McDonald at the helm, the company has had an impressive couple of years, recording a 43 per cent increase in revenues in 2012, expanding its sales and operations teams, and moving in to new territories with the launch of an X2 apartment in Sydney, Australia.
BHMAsia’s progress is a good indicator of the strength of the Asian travel and hospitality sector, and it will be interesting to see what the company plans for its next move.
