UK: Tuscan property named best overall boutique hotel in the world at London awards ceremony.
Borgo Santo Pietro is a restored 13th century Tuscan villa, which has been painstakingly transformed by owners Jeanette and Claus Thottrup into a boutique hotel and spa.
The winners and runners-up of the 2012 Boutique Hotel Awards were presented with their prizes at a ceremony at London’s Hempel Hotel last week. The awards dinner brought together hoteliers, press, and industry figures from around the world.
