UK: The Dorchester Collection will launch a training academy in luxury services for third-party clients
Dorchester Collection has announced plans to launch a training academy in luxury services in the hospitality industry.
The academy will be headed by newly appointed global director Beth Aarons, who has been appointed to the newly created position after two years as area director of human resources for Dorchester’s Collection’s three UK hotels.
Dorchester Collection Academy is set to open in early 2018. The academy will be based in Mayfair, London. Students will be provided with coaching and experiential training in luxury services.
Aarons said: “I am thrilled to be part of Dorchester Collection’s new enterprise, delivering the group’s renowned expertise and helping respected professionals and brands to develop their potential within the luxury market.”
Christopher Cowdray, chief executive of Dorchester Collection, added: “Dorchester Collection hotels are icons in their own right, with a worldwide reputation for offering the best and most sought-after experiences and unparalleled standards of service. I am delighted to be able to share our knowledge of customer engagement as a luxury leader, supporting greater recognition and service personalisation.”
In addition to its UK properties, Dorchester Collection operates a further six hotels in Paris, Milan, Rome, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.
