Mantra Group to launch BreakFree hotel on Bali

Indonesia: Australian hotel operator Mantra Group has announced the 2014 launch of its first BreakFree property on Bali.

The company has signed a management agreement for the Sing Ken Ken Boutique Hotel in Legian. The 80-room property will be rebranded and relaunched as the BreakFree Sing Ken Ken in October 2013.

Mantra Group CEO Bob East said: “Mantra Group is focused on growing our presence in Bali across all three of our brands and we are confident that BreakFree’s combination of great service and cost effective quality accommodation will work well in this region.”

“We have concentrated on getting the product right for the BreakFree brand over the last few years which has meant divesting hotels that weren’t within our brand standards. As a result, we have a solid network of good quality hotels in Australia and the BreakFree brand is ready to be taken to a market like Bali,” he added.

Located close to Double Six Beach, the new property features 80 rooms and suites and a restaurant with rooftop terrace. A new rooftop pool and bar will be added, along with meeting space for up to 250 people.

It is Mantra’s second property in the region following the launch of Mantra Nusa Dua Bali earlier this year. The company plans to develop six more properties on the island, under all three of its brands – BreakFree, Mantra and Peppers.
