Peru: Hotel B, described as the first boutique hotel in Lima, is set to open in March 2013.

Set in an abandoned historic mansion, originally built in 1914, the property will feature 17 suites, a private spa and a signature restaurant by Oscar Velarde, one of Peru‘s best known restaurateurs.

Located in the seaside neighborhood of Barranco, the hotel has been purchased by The Andean Experience Company, a Peruvian tour operator and hotel developer. It will be connected by private passageway to one of the Lucia de la Punte art gallery, where exclusive viewings and special dinners can be arranged for hotel guests after hours.
