Worldwide: RaizUp, a hospitality, travel and technology consultancy, has introduced a diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) certification.
The RaizUp DEI certification is said to be the first of its kind in the industry. It provides a roadmap for hospitality companies to achieve DEI goals as well as metrics for benchmarking and measuring progress.
During the application process, a questionnaire will help RaizUp to evaluate a company’s current DEI policies and status with a view to provide specific goals across the following areas:
• Organisations
• Employees
• Customers
• Partners
• Destinations and communities (if applicable)
It can take between one to three months to complete, and once awarded the certificate is active for one calendar year. Companies can decide to re-evaluate and renew the certificate after the year has lapsed.
The certification, which is ISO 30415:2021 compliant, is available worldwide, including Europe, the USA, and the UAE.
Alongside the launch, RaizUp has also unveiled its new website which provides resources such as workshops, assessments, recruitment services and more to support travel and technology businesses to achieve and uphold DEI standards.
“We are thrilled to launch our new website and introduce our revolutionary DEI certification,” said Rita Jusztina Varga, founder of RaizUp. “With the building of our global talent community, our goal has always been to help the travel industry create a more inclusive workplace, and our expanded B2B services and certification will allow us to do that on an even greater scale. We are excited to see the positive impact this will have on the industry.”
