Singapore: RedDoorz, a hospitality company that operates in Southeast Asia, is rolling out its new economy lifestyle hotel brand SANS in Indonesia with five new properties targeted by the end of 2021.

The launch forms part of a strategy for RedDoorz to become the “largest new-age hospitality company in Southeast Asia.”

SANS, derived from the Indonesian word santai which means to chill, will offer affordable and extended stays with trendy furniture and amenities.

Amit Saberwal, founder and CEO of RedDoorz, said: “We’ve had a great journey over the last five years growing RedDoorz into the region’s number one hotel brand. We are now getting ready for our next phase of growth and despite COVID-19, we remain deeply committed to Southeast Asia’s hospitality potential. Once the pandemic gets behind us, we will be the first hospitality company in our part of the world to spring back into full growth mode again thanks to everything we’ve done during this challenging year. We want to continue to transform how people travel and live in Southeast Asia, provide more economic value to our accommodation partners and become the largest hospitality platform in our region.”

Earlier this year, RedDoorz introduced KoolKost, an extended stay, coliving brand offering flexible leases.

In Q1 of 2021, RedDoorz said it will undergo a major rebranding campaign which will include a redesigned app with easy navigation through the company’s portfolio of brands. The app will be complemented by a loyalty programme.

Guests will be able to book rooms at SANS Hotels through the new app which will be available on Android and iOS devices.
