UAE: Lifestyle hospitality brand Rove Hotels has set a regional expansion goal across the GCC, targeting 10,000 rooms in operation or under development over the next five years.
Rove currently operates 3,400 hotel rooms across various properties in Dubai including city centre hotels, event-led hotels, beach hotels, and a theme-park hotel.
Some of the brand’s properties offer coworking desks, podcast studios, and private office rooms. Its F&B concept The Daily is available at select properties for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The decision to grow throughout the Middle East follows the brand’s record commercial performance last year. Alban Mabille has been appointed as group director of development to lead the company’s expansion.
Rove is also diversifying into branded residences with the launch of Rove Home, with its first two projects – Rove Home Aljada and Rove Home in Downtown Dubai – due to open in 2025 and 2026 respectively.
Paul Bridger, chief operating officer of Rove Hotels, said: “In this exciting new phase of Rove’s journey, we’re looking forward to taking our unique lifestyle hospitality concept to new destinations. As a homegrown brand, we are thrilled to see the tremendous growth in tourism that the region is experiencing, and we believe that Rove Hotels can play an important role in providing accessible quality accommodation options for travellers.”
