UK: Sleep, the hotel design and development event, has announced its conference programme for 2014.

A range of speakers from the design and hotel worlds will include George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, the founders of Toronto-based Yabu Pushelberg; Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku of Jouin Manku.

Restaurateur Jeremy King, who is opening his first hotel, The Beaumont in London’s Mayfair, later this year, will open the conference.

There will be session on hostel design, featuring Generator Hostels’ funder Josh Wyatt of Patron Capital, and three leading designers in the sector – Werner Aisslinger, Ian Burleigh and Anwar Makhayech.

Other speakers will include Andrew Sangster, editor of Hotel Analyst; Philip Camble, director of Whitebridge Hospitality; Billy Skelli-Cohen of Greenbrook BD; Carlson Rezidor’s Eugene Staal; David Curtis-Brignell of Think Apartments, and Tom Hupe of EPR Architects

Event host moderator Guy Dittrich said: “The Sleep Conference is a unique event that offers access to a vast wealth of design knowledge, know-how and sheer talent. The Sleep Conference, together with the Sleep Set and Sleep Exhibition will be held on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th November at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
