The Standard introduces ‘Buy One, Give One’ initiative

US: For bookings made now until 11 June 2020, Standard Hotels will offer those guests the opportunity to give a stay to a first responder, essential worker, friend or family member.

Upon booking a reservation, the customer will fill out a note indicating whom and why they are fighting the stay.

Once complete, the Standard team will notify the gift recipient, who will receive a customised note and VIP treatment on arrival.

“By sharing our hotels, we are giving our guests the opportunity to express their thanks to those who have kept them going during this difficult time,” said Amar Lalvani, CEO of The Standard. “Whether that be a health care worker, delivery person or local barista who never stopped serving. It’s a small gesture, but one we hope helps our community begin this next chapter with an enduring spirit of goodwill.”

By sharing the comfort of our hotels and through thoughtful care from our staff, we have the opportunity to partner with our guests to give back in a small, but meaningful way, to those who have done so much for all of us during this time.”
