UK: Pub and hotel operator Young’s is set to launch The Foley, a £3 million 17-bedroom boutique hotel with pub and dining room in Claygate, Surrey.

Due to open in October, The Foley will be a sister property to the Alma hotel (pictured) in London’s Wandsworth Town, which is designed as a modern-day coaching inn.

Set in an 18th-century property, rooms will feature bespoke furniture, textured fabrics, flat-screen TVs, bathrooms with walk-in showers, complimentary Wi-Fi and mini-bars.

Patrick Dardis, Young’s retail director, said: “The coaching inn concept is a natural evolution for the brand, allowing us to offer quality food, drink and accommodation under one roof, always retaining the pub’s identity within its community.”
