UK: The winners of the World Boutique Hotel Awards 2018 were announced last night at a ceremony held at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London.
The ceremony brought together boutique hotel owners, travel and lifestyle press and travel industry influencers from all four corners of the globe. This year’s keynote speech was delivered by Robin Sheppard, chairman of Bespoke Hotels and the Institute of Hospitality.
Guest presenters and speakers included Paolo Macchiaroli, founder of My Private Villas; Alex Buchanan, co-owner and editor of Catering in Scotland; Game of Thrones actress Laura Pradelska; Lara Asprey, founder of Asprey Introductions; Elisabeth Visoanska, founder of Visoanska; and Nobert Meinike, director of marketing at Blacklane.

Awarta Nusa Dua Resort & Villas in Bali was crowned the World’s Best Boutique Hotel for 2018.
