US: Worldhotels has announced that the Hotel Derek in Houston has joined its Deluxue Collection.
The 314-room four-star property is centrally located adjacent to the Houston Galleria shopping mall, and features an outdoor swimming pool, full-service fitness centre, concierge service, room service, valet parking and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
Its restaurant, the Valentino Vinbar Houston is a new innovation from restaurateurs Luciano Pellegrini and Piero Selvaggio.
Worldhotels offers 500 unique independent hotels in 250 destinations and 65 countries worldwide. It says it “backs independent hotels with the power of a global brand while allowing them to retain their individual character and identity. In addition to its classic ‘affiliation model’, the group offers independent hotels a ‘full license’ branding solution”.
