US: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has opened The Lumen, a boutique hotel in Dallas, Texas.
The Kimpton-managed property includes a rooftop terrace, courtyard pool and a sun deck among other features. Divided in to two separate buildings, it has a new three-story addition with 34 guest rooms, including a junior suite and two premium suites. The newly renovated original structure offers 54 guest rooms.
General manager Brian Harris said: “The Lumen focuses on creating a modern, yet warm environment that utilizes a prism-like palate that plays off the concept of light. The expanded and renovated hotel reflects the original vision, but more fully articulates the mid-century architecture and attitude.”
