Spain: Avalon Hotel & Restaurant in Nerja, on the Costa del Sol, has been put up for sale with an asking price of €2.77 million, including both the freehold property and the operating business.

The six room boutique hotel and restaurant overlooks Playazo beach and the Almijara mountains, located in the town of Punta Lara on the Costa del Sol in Spain.

It has been in operation since 1970 and has been owned by its present owners Alix and Kevin Robinson for over 15 years.

The sale comprises a 421-square-metre building on a 2,197-square-metre site. The commercial property includes six en-suite guest rooms with private terraces, a 67-square-metre owner’s apartment, a restaurant serving 95 guests, a bar, rooftop terrace, and 20 car parking spaces. Further development of up to 900 square metres is also approved for planning.

The Robinson’s said: “Guests find Avalon, fall in love with it, and come back year after year. We have poured 15 years into this building, this kitchen, and these views. Now it is time to hand it on to someone who will love it as fiercely as we have.”
